What underwear shall I wear with my wedding dress?

This is THE question we are asked daily by our brides!

And the answer is – wear whatever makes you feel the most comfortable and beautiful. It is YOUR day to do with what you please….

However, we do have some tips for what underwear works best under certain dresses and styles.

Ultimately (and you’ll be glad to hear it) the best underwear to wear is seamless underwear or no VPL and depending on the waist line the higher the better!

If your wedding dress is more fitted and especially in a crepe material you might want to go with a seamless thong so you really can’t see the panty line through the dress.

Another big tip is go with nude underwear! White will  show through more fitted dresses and nude will blend in with your skin tone.

We have rounded up some of our favourites from the high street so you don’t have to…

Starting off strong with M&S. Our, (well at least my) go to when it comes to underwear;

A pack of 5, no VPL nude thongs are currently on their website for £9! You really can’t go wrong at this price, and you even have some spare!

Next up, there’s Next. They do a 3 pack of a nude, white and black pair of no VPL knickers for £16. Not as good value for money as M&S but the other colours might be more practical for day to day wear after the wedding day!

Then we have Boux avenue who do a nude microfibre shorts for £8. This is just for the one pair of knickers so it is definitely coming in at the most expensive but they have excellent reviews and do look extremely comfortable. Comfort is key!

Now, something I was always aware of when I was getting married, was my legs chafing under my dress (if you know , you know!) and M&S comes up trumps again with their anti chafe cycling shorts in nude, for £8. It solves all your worries and another bonus is that they look super comfortable and will definitely come in handy for your hot girl summer!

And as always, we are always just a message or a phone call away.  If you have any questions you want us to answer more in depth like this one, please let us know! Hope this helps xx
